Only ordinary small and medium-sized standard die mold and plastic mold frame, guide post, guide sleeve, push rod, mold spring, pneumatic components and other products, a higher degree of commercialization, can basically meet the needs of the domestic market, and some exports.

However, there are few domestic manufacturers of personalized products with high technical content, advanced structure, excellent performance, high quality and convenient replacement, such as ball lock type quick change punch and fixing plate, solid lubrication guide plate and guide sleeve, inclined wedge mechanism and its parts, high-grade plastic mold standard parts and nitrogen main spring, etc., and due to lack of funds, technical reform projects are difficult to implement, low production efficiency and long delivery cycle, the contradiction between supply and demand has become increasingly prominent.

China still needs to import a considerable number of mold standard parts from abroad every year, and its cost accounts for about 8% of the annual mold import. There are still many problems in the technical standards, scientific and technological development, product quality and so on.

For example, the product standards are chaotic, the functional components are few, the technical content is low, and the applicability is poor; the technical reform is small, the equipment is outdated, the technology is backward, the specialization level is low, and the product quality is unstable; the lack of professional talents, the management can not keep up with the management, the production efficiency is low, and the delivery cycle is long; the production and sales outlets are unevenly distributed, the operating varieties and specifications are insufficient, the market is flooded with shoddy goods. There are also phenomena that ignore costs, blindly reduce prices and disrupt the market, which need to be carefully studied and resolved.
